MPIDE RC4 - Bluetooth issue

In RC4 under winXP SP3 when the USB Bluetooth dongle is inserted - the MPIDE opens slow (~25sec) and the Tools tab cannot be opened. After removing the dongle MPIDE works as expected. BT uses standard XP driver (5.1.2600.5512, 04/13/2008, Microsoft BT Enumerator), the radio is Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd., (BT204 BT Micro Adapter). p.

Does this exact same behavior happen with previous MPIDE versions, and does it happen under RC4 on other computers?

But it happens with AVR Arduino IDE 0022 and IDE 101 under XP. It seems to me like a collision of java rxtx with XP serial drivers..

Update: Win7 - no such issues observed with RC4 (Win7 standard BT drivers used). p.
