IRREMOTE doesnt work. HELP!!

i am trying to add #include <IRremote.h> on my project and i always get this error

C:\mpide0023\mpide-0023-windows-20111221.\hardware\pic32\libraries\IRremote\IRremote.cpp:18:27: fatal error: avr/interrupt.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated.

is there any solution???

is there any other library that can read IR signals from remotes?

I ported the adafruit examples. (last post on the thread)

Try to use sony remotes. That is what it was designed for. (read the tutorial linked)

there is a problem on that code.

i want to be able to check when i need for incoming IR.

my project do many things (led panels) and i need to check some times for incoming signals
