HI,i'm a newbie, I would like to create a datalogger for a motorbike, i would like to use ChipKit Max32 and

 • Grove Mega Shield (visible on seedstudio)
 • 6 sensor for tyre temperature MLX90614ESF-ACC
 • GPS U-Blox Neo-6M GPS module by seedstudio(dot)com
 • 2 sensor for dumper extension SHARP GP2D120XJ00F
 • 2 IR emitters/detectors for the speed of weels
 • Sensor for RPM based on the TA12-200 by seedstudio(dot)com
 • Accelerometer based on MMA7660FC with Digital Output I2C by seedstudio(dot)com
 • Gyro LY530ALH by ST Microelectronics
 • OpenLog for save on SD Is possible? Thanks a lot

Just a remark. I reckon detecting RPM on wheels by IR device isn't the best solution -because of dirt-, maybe you have to consider an inductive signal detector. (like for example this: http://www.supplierlist.com/photo_images/227849/Metal_cylinderical_inductive_sensor_LR18_series.jpg

i think it for raceway use, every 100km i clean it and i hope there isn't dust in the track...

I so wanna love the UNO32 but if you want a reliable SD card library you have a lot better options (assuming you are using their IDE). I have tried and tried to get it to work with no luck. Otherwise it would be the perfect micro controller for me!...

If you are saving to SD let me know which shield you are using and what you are doing!

at this moment i haven't buy nothing for the SD, but i would like to use OpenLog if i can find his wiki page http://www.sparkfun.com/products/9530 i tink it's easy to use, just like a serial lcd
