Can chipkit make a board for the newer 32MX 28PIN series of chips,,also without the ftdi chip.....Thanks

The newer 28 pin parts only go up to 32K flash. You wouldn't be able to put a very big sketch in there. Also, USB takes up at least 4 pins, plus MCLR, power, ground, and there's only 14 I/O pins available.

Also note that, while cheaper, these parts run at a maximum of 40MHz (half the speed of the current boards) and have no cache, so their performance will be significantly less than the current crop of chipKITs.

That being said, they are much less expensive and have PPS.
