I am looking for a microcontroller for a robotics project, and the chipKIT Max32 is quite interesting. I have a few concerns though...
Firstly, is there any way to access the CAN bus functionality other than via the network shield? I only need to connect to one CAN bus, so the full shield is a bit of overkill for me! Secondly, what is the status of the servo library? from looking around the forum it seems as though there has been some work by users here into implementing it - is it in working order at the moment? Is there any documentation available?

There are several working servo libraries that are working.
