Has anyone tried this on Linux ?

I've tried on a UNO32 and it does not work. I am using Arduino.mk, posted on another thread on this forum, and the same code work with the latest release ( 0811 ),

I've tried on MAC OS X unfortunately not work some core-specific function (WriteCoreTimer(); ReadCoreTimer() )

I've tested this out on Ubuntu 11.04 32 bit. What version are you using?

I am using the same, but I am using the Arduino.mk makefile template posted elsewhere. This Dev Env, works when I switch to tools and code from 0811, but the same sketches don't work with this build.

Maybe I am missing some PREPROCESSOR flag with the msakefiles, or something like that, because I'd like to just echo something to the serial port.

I've played a little bit with the windows version. I didn't see any obvious problem.

Anyway it is the second time when I am using an Arduino IDE :|
