Well first off Im new to all this Micro stuff ... just wasted about 2 hrs messing around with the UNO32 & MPIDE ... for some reason the one LED pluged in to PIN 5 keeps blinking on and off no matter what I do ... I keep messing with the code .... hitting reset switch .... unwiring and rewiring the breadboard ....nothing , can't figure out what to do .... then after a few hours messing with code and wires , I thought maby its the resistor .... Nope ... still blinking :( .. then I switch the LED :D BINGO ... BLINKING LED trouble fixed . GO FIGURE .... "I didn't know they made blinking LEDs" or was the one I had just bad ? I got it out of a multi Pack of LEDs from RS. Anyhow .... Live and Learn

Thanks for the reply. You're right it is LD3 that is lit. I'm afraid that I may have made a foolish first post. When I connected up a LCD screen I got a warning on my computer that the draw on the USB port was too high. I then plugged in an external power supply and noticed the red LED, and thought I'd done something wrong. I forgot that that LED is lit all the time. You right that it is a bit too bright.
