Bonjour from France,

I've been working on a website for two years now about my hobbies. I started first with photography and fischertechnik, then I added Arduino and chipKIT.

fischertechnik I discovered fischertechnik many, many years ago, in mid-70's when I was a teenager. The basic element is a 15 x 15 x 30 mm block. It used to be light gray, it's now black.

In 2000, I discovered at the Franz Carl Weber toy shop in Geneva, the new range with black blocks and the Intelligent Interface, actually a micro-controller. So I started again playing with the pneumatic kit, which is really outstanding. Other kits came after.

In 2009, I went from 8 bits to 32 bits, changing my Intelligent Interface and Extension Module for two Robo TX controllers, packing Bluetooth and I2C (I2C still in development).

I'm mostly interested in industrial robots and mobile robots.

Embedded Computing Since the end of 2010, I'm exploring the embedded computing world with first Arduino and then chipKIT.

The boards provide a nice complement to my fischertechnik models. I'm mainly focused on advanced I2C sensors, like IMU and true colour reader. Also, I developed a library for the touch LCD screen from 4D Systems.

Enjoy

The shape sort of reminds me of aluminum bosch, as far as the shape goes. Those could be fun to mess with for creating light robotic frames.
