In the MPIDE, for the MAX32 board selection (tools->board), I can select "chipKIT MAX32" or "chipKIT MAX32-USB for Serial". First selection is the standard, second selection I guess is for using the integrated USB OTG as serial bridge, but how it works?

Let's take the "blinking led" example: if I upload this using the "chipKIT MAX32" selection, it works. If I upload this using "chipKIT MAX32-USB for Serial" the uploading process goes but there are some fast flash of the led, then the led remains on.

Did you solve this question?

I'm with the same problem, but a little bit different board

I have a Olimex MAXI-WEB32, and a try to uso originally with MPIDE and didnt't work...

Just after to programmer a MAX32 bootloader using PicKit3 and use a FTDI Serial-USB adapter to communicate by serial COM3 interface, my board works with MPIDE!!.

It's verry ugly and a need to find another solution, maybe using USB-OTG from my MAXI-WEB.
