IMHO, the power-on LED is too bright. (the RX/TX Leds, which are presumably similar electrically, are fine since they are pulsed and usually off...)

Yes, it is somewhat overpowering compared to, say, the green LD4.

Yes, I can agree with that, the power LED is far to bright, I'm going to put some tape over it!

At least it isn't blue ;)
