I have a brand new UNO32 just purchased at the Microchip Masters conference. I get the following error when downloading any Sketch:
Binary sketch size: 13036 bytes (of a 126976 byte maximum) avrdude: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0180 0x00 != 0xff avrdude: verification error; content mismatch
Shield on or off makes no difference. Is this board bad? Do I need to reload the Boot-loader?
I also have the MAX32 and it's working fine with the same programs.
Thanks Dan

This sounds like the flash memory timing problem. See this thread for a pretty thorough discussion of the issue.

So far as I know, programming the new boot loader (now on the Digilent web site) has fixed this on Uno32 boards exhibiting the problem. Do you have a Microchip dev tool (such as a PICkit3 that you can use to program the new boot loader.

I have a Real Ice programmer. Looks like I need a special adapter for the board?
Thanks Dan

Dan,
I understand that Scott has been helping you resolve this. If you need anything else, let me know.

hello, have the exact same problem! Unfortunatly I'm not a pic programmer and I don't have a pict3 programmer, there any other way to upgrade the bootloader without spend more money?
