Hey there, just installed the UECIDE, but the window is all garbled. I moused over those menu items, and all the garbled and messed up graphics is covering the IDE.

Any ideas how to fix it? :)

I'm using UECIDE v0.9.1 under Windows 10, and have also seen the red text messages about not being able to delete temp files. But that seems to be benign; and I am not seeing the garbled windows that you reported. All windows refresh properly on my system.

That kind of mess most often happens when Java has crashed. Make sure you are on the latest Java version and UECIDE version.

The failure to delete issue is a known problem that I am working on. Windows has a hard time deleting files if they happen to be locked, and Java doesn't like releasing locks on files for some reason.

I have already updated the Java to the latest, but still doesn't work well. The UECIDE is at 0.9.1.

Salut, all ok on my side: java 1.8.0_151_b12 windows 10 Home 64b 1709 build 16299.64 I only see the delete error messages that Matt is aware of.

If you have any old java versions (e.g.in the UECIDE folder or installed), deinstall them if java has not done so already

Ciao, Mathias

Or it could be something else installed on your computer that's interfering with things. Maybe some malware.
