Can i sell CHIPKIT/Arduino compatible i built?

I have recently edited the CHIPKIT gerbers and built a board the EKIT. Can i sell these boards if i successfully build and test? :roll: My boards will have a different color( Black).

Yes, you can, as long as you don't use the name chipKIT anywhere on the board or in your documentation without first getting permission from the trademark holder (Microchip).

That is the definition of open source hardware after all - it's not OSHW unless you can modify the design and sell it.
