Has anybody got the combination of a DP32 and one of the cheap ENC28j60 ethernet boards ( which are nearly identical to a PMODNIC ) working with the DNETcK liibrary? Seems like the SPI doesn't get initialized correctly. No SCK or MOSI seen on the scope. CS is there.

DSPI works OK. Also it works ok on a CMOD, which is quite similar to the DP32.

Also I think I got the PMODNIC100 working with the DP32.

Hoping somebody knows what the problem is before I have to do some spelunking around a bundh of registers.

Steve

EDIT Actually I am seeing data being transmitted on MOSI. The problem seems to be sck. DNETcK is using RB14 for sck. When using a DSPI example sck is there.

Hi Steve,

I just found your post while looking for unanswered questions relating to Digilent hardware. Sorry you never received an answer, but I’ll pick this thread up in case you or anyone else is still encountering this issue. Did you ever end up finding the problem? I imagine that this problem has been fixed in recent versions of MPIDE and DEIPck libraries.
