Admin,

would it be possible to make the forum layout wider?

Philip

Or maybe user settable... its too wide most of the time for me.

Personally I quite like the size. It fits well on my netbook screen. It could be better laid out though to give more horizontal room to the posts I guess, and less room to pictures of Jacob in a tux...

It only seems to be an issue when you have pictures bigger than the allotted size. It would be better to (somehow) enable automatic resizing of the images to shrink them to the right size for the forum.

No, no. We should make the vanity pics a little larger...

I like the tux photo; it causes me to aspire to better things :-)

Seen on my bigger screen the forum is very very narrow. I posted some pictures that I thought would fit, and they ended up much bigger than I expected.

So yes, maybe widening it a little would be beneficial. A common size to use is 960 pixels - fits well on most screens - and this is only something like 720 pixels... way too narrow for "normal" use.

Even better would be a flexible layout ;)

As seen from my phone where I normal read and view the form.

I turn on "mobile view" on my phone, so it reflows the text to fit the screen - the width of the forum is then irrelevant.

As seen on my main computer's screen(s):
