Dear all.

We are in to solar tracking system . We have Designed solar tracker with feed back . Now i am planning to run without feedback sensor.

i have attached my algorithm page here.

I need formula to calculate the Actual speed?? * I have below arrangement: Arduino board. RTC for getting time , motor Drive to drive linear actuator. linear actuator details: 24v 3A,600mm stroke, actuator speed 3.2mm/sec, resolution1.89 pulse/mm.*

Desired angle assumption @ 7AM : desire angle: 45 deg , actuator length: 0mm @12pm:desire angle: 0deg , actuator length: 300mm @18pm:desire angle: -45 deg , actuator length: 600mm after 18 and before 7AM desire angle: 0 deg , actuator length: 300mm

question :1) how to calculate actual position of linear actuator depend upon speed?? 2) i don't need accurate elevation angle.I assume that sun will be 0 deg around 12pm perpendicular to surface 3) If any other idea for implementing share it . 4)formula involved in calculation
