Any references to implementing low power within the MPIDE tasking utility.

I do not believe that it does. However, the code for it is all very simple and easy to modify. If you can get it to work, we'd love to put it in the MPIDE core.

One thing I would love to see is proper low-power management built in to the core - things like clock switching to an low-speed crystal (SOSC) and the core still working at the right speed (delay(), millis(), baud-rate calculations, etc), and proper support for sleep modes.
