I have just posted an entry in the WIKI introducing the changes I have made to my DP32 board in order to turn it into a versatile and feature rich development platform. The entry may be found here: http://chipkit.net/chipkit-dp32-deluxe/ I posted it in the default location, if a WIKI moderator would like to move it to a suitable subcategory please go ahead and do so. As always I am open to comments, discussion and correction, so please have a look and let me know your thoughts.

In the interface section of the above I forgot to mention the Seeedstudio Grove system as a contender, I dismissed it for lack of documentation as I could find no information on the specification of the interface nor schematics for the available modules. Neither could I find any licensing information. The range looks promising though and as the connectors are only 4 pin it should be easy to build an adaptor board for the mikroBUS interface or use the ICSP port.

If anyone has any info on Grove please let me know.

I am new to this WIKI stuff, only my second entry and I need all the help and proofreading I can get :)

I also noticed that the reply I made to a comment a few days ago has disappeared and some strange formatting errors have creped in. All I need to do is try and work out how to edit a WIKI Entry :)

For those wondering when the "How to" Articles will appear there has been a slight delay. I discovered several issues with the NXP PCF8574 Remote 8-bit I/O expander I used in the prototype and I have decided it is not fit for this application. I have ordered a stock of MCP23008 Microchip 8bit port expanders instead, As I have already used the MCP23017 on the breadboard I confident it will solve the problem. I will have to try and make the Libraries compatible with the LCD drivers etc. though.
