Hi all I am new here , and have a problem , I have tried to upload the mpide file to a 4 gb sd card (new ) on 32 occations and ended up taking the uploaded zip file in an 8 gb thumbdrive and the sd card to the local computer tech , he uploaded the file to the card and I still get the same result ! this is the bios screen shot I get instantly then nothing else!20131112_172641.jpg I am at my wits end and am seriously considering selling this brand new chipkit board for whatever I can get for it and go back to arduino! (ps the rpi works fine with the pi sd card) My question : is there anywhere I can buy an SD card loaded with the mpide file in working order??any replies gratefully received. very frustrated mark  :(

I don't believe they are for sale anywhere at the moment. It should just be a "download, burn, boot".

There is, of course, nothing stopping you using a normal Pi Linux installation and installing MPIDE into it. You can download MPIDE for Pi Linux here: http://chipkit.s3.amazonaws.com/builds/mpide-0023-raspberrypi-20130920.tgz
