Okay so i hook up the my Leonardo to uLCD-43PT-AR with the arduino shield. I download the geneieArduino_demo example for the Leonardo and the screen respectively. It works, no problem (i changed the baudrate to 9600). I also fiddled around with the restart wire, but it dosent seem to change anything.

Then i hook it up to my ChipKit Max 32 and nothing happens. I have remembered to put the librabry in the pic32 lib folder and there is no problem loading it on the chipkit, but the dials dosent move.

I then began fidling around with the different serial connections, used cables instead of the shield, changed the parameters and used pin 39 & 40 insted of 0 & 1, but in vain.

I also tried my ChipKit Uno 32 board, but with no luck.

I tried with an external powersupply @ 12v, no luck!

Does anybody know what the problem is?

Does anybody have a code that they know works with genieArduino and a Max32 or Uno32 ChipKit that they could post?

I need the speed of the ChipKit because i am going to drive two steppers and the standard arduino cant keep up.

Sincerely Kristoffer.

I am using uC32 and the uLCD-43. Send me your code and I will see what I can do.
