adafruit motor shield V2.

i have searched and found that the library for the adafruit motor shield V1 was modified to work with chipkit. has anyone been working on the new version for their new shield?

Just chiming in; I'm very curious myself and eager to see support for the v2 library since the v1 Motor shield is now discontinued and running in very short supply.

I have the Uno32 and just got a Adafruit Motershield V2. It didnt take long to find out that Adafruit code will not compile in MPIDE. Would be very interested to know if this is being worked on.

I have the Uno32 and got the AdaFruit Motorshield V2. It didnt take long to find out that the adafruit V2 code will not complie in MPIDE. I would like to know if this is being worked on or if I need a true Arduino board to use the V2 motorshield.
