Hi, Has anyone has success programming the Uno32 or Max32 boards with an ICD3. I am working in MPLAB X and am received a "can't find device ID error." I know my ICD3 is okay because it passes the self-check and is capable of programming several other boards (e.g., the Mikro multimedia board). I know the boards are okay because I am able to program them fine using my Real ICE. This seems to be a compatibility issue with the ICD3. Just wondering whether anyone is successfully using it with the chipKIT boards.

Thanks, Scott

I have programmed an Uno32 with an ICD3 as well as several of our custom chipKIT boards as well.

Your error is usually pour contact with all the programming pins or no power to the processor. If it were a custom board I would also tell you to make sure you have the correct vdd core cap.
