Programing a blank chip

hi im just trying to programa black PIC32MX320F128H using MPLAB and microchip PICkit 3 I load up the software and goto import file Loaded C:\Users\VMAN\Downloads\PIC32-avrdude-bootloader-master\PIC32-avrdude-bootloader-master\bootloaders\chipKIT-Bootloaders\dist\Uno32\production\chipKIT-Bootloaders.production.hex. then programmer pickit3 it dose this

PICkit 3 detected Connecting to PICkit 3... Firmware Suite Version...... 01.28.72 Firmware type......................PIC32MX PICkit 3 Connected. Device ID Revision = 50900053

then hit the program button and this comes up

Programming... Programming/Verify complete

dose that mean the chip is programed ?

how can I test it its a I solder the chip onto a adaptor board

I'd say it's programmed.

One of the pins - the one which would be connected to D13 normally, should be blinking, at least a couple of times at power-up.
