Error in initializing, status: 40 using WiFi Shield & Max 32

i'm trying run the WiFiTCPEchoServer Sketch with the wifi shield and a max 32 board, but i keep getting the following error:

Error in initializing, status: 40 Something went wrong, sketch is done.

it would be nice to know what that something is that is wrong; this error message is useless.

i've seen similar errors in other posts; however, i have not seen a comprehensive solution. i have new boards and a fresh installation, and i have the wifiscan sketch working.

has anyone overcame this problem and care to offer some assistance.

Hi,'i'm try just now the example and work well. So i think that you have any wrong setting in your configuration in pde, for example the ip address, wireless key or wireless ssid. check this parameter and check cthe configuration of your AP. I remember that wifi shild does'nt suppot the wpa network.
