Is Serial.Event(); supported by MPIDE? I have used this previously in an arduino sketch, and it compiles in MPIDE but does not seem to be functioning.

I think I've had a similar experiance. But I haven't played with it for sometime so I don't know if this has been resolved. You can post an issue in GitHub, or if you don't know how I can do it for you.
