DNETcK Problem

Hello All,

I am very new to ChipKit so forgive my noobishness. I am trying to get my Max32 running with the chipKit Network Shield, and can't seem to get DNETcK initialized. It appears that any time I run DNETcK::isInitialized() everything freezes. I attempt to run the "RemoteWOLNetworkShield" example and it seems I never make it past the DNETcK::isInitialized() step. I read a previous post for the cerebot suggesting I may need to try a different bootloader, but I find it hard to believe that this Max32 is running an old bootloader (I just bought it like 2 weeks ag). Has anyone else ecountered/resolved this issue?
