Hi there, I just want to say thanks to Rick Henderson, Mark Sproule, and Adam Tannir from Fubar, as well as Marc McComb from Microchip. :D I had a great time at maker fair thanks to collaborative effort from Rick and Adam from Fubar, learned a ton about the chipkit and the arduino platform itself from Mark from Fubar, and received 2 chipkit max32 to program on from Marc McComb!
Thanks so much for getting me started! :D Was very excited that MPIDE is to run on linux and be open source! I am very glad I did not purchase the FTDI device, since their environment only runs on windows and their device doesn't run arduino code directly. The chipkit definitely seems to have the advantage over the competition with speed, capacity, and extra I/O. Good job guys!!!! 8-) I hope to be on my way programming the chipkit as soon as I can get MPIDE up and running.
Thanks so much and it was wonderful to meet you all!
