Proposed new Forum category: Software Builds and Announcemen

Post by ricklon » Mon May 30, 2011 12:11 am

I'm figuring we need a place where announcements about the software builds, updates, and release information. We'll get that set up soon.

Over the last week, we've collected new issues filed them on the github issue list, and now we've resolved a lot of the biggees like floating point compiling for Arduino AVR platform, and preferences confusion between Arduino and MPide, and more in the core files. We started out with daily builds to get things going, now we're moving to weekly builds. So unless there is something that breaks the build I'm working on getting a new one ready to go. I'll announce it with release notes of resolved issues, and known issues.

Thanks everyone. Keep reporting issues. Everything we collect makes this better.

Added the new category - feel free to make topics. Rick - you might want to make the "build announcements" forum topic sticky when you make it.
