Re: mpu-9250 and Fubarino Mini

I'll give using that library a try. I have found that I had two sets of wires connected in the middle. As soon as that middle got bumped or loose it stopped working. I did things like unplug scl, and sda and replicated the stop reading and never start again behavior. I tried short cables and it work...

Re: mpu-9250 and Fubarino Mini

I'm connect to hardware i2c pins 25, 26. I've attached the INT pin on the board to pin 24. I used the Saleae analyzer and I see 24 toggling and data on pins 25 and 26 the correspond to I2c. I also had the onboard led blinking. Between 30 - 60 secs in stops blinking and no serial data is being sent. ...

mpu-9250 and Fubarino Mini

I'm using the Fubarion Mini and the Sparkfun mpu-9250 (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13762). I'm using there example library and it responds for a while sending data and then stops. Serial data is no longer being sent. I've looked at it with a logic analyzer and the data going back and forth see...

Re: mpu9250 library from Sparkfun i2c interrupt question

So this article shows a image of a uncalibrated magnetometer and it looks closer to what I'm seeing. I'll review the calibration information.

Re: mpu9250 library from Sparkfun i2c interrupt question

Could there be a problem with the math library? myIMU.yaw = atan2(2.0f * (*(getQ() + 1) * *(getQ() + 2) + *getQ() * *(getQ() + 3)), *getQ() * *getQ() + * (getQ() + 1) * *(getQ() + 1) - * (getQ() + 2) * *(getQ() + 2) - * (getQ() + 3) * *(getQ() + 3)); myIMU.pitch = -asin(2.0f * (*(getQ() + 1) * *(get...

Re: mpu9250 library from Sparkfun i2c interrupt question

So the other things is for AHRS I don't know what the values I should see are. So it could be right and I have the wrong frame of reference.

Re: mpu9250 library from Sparkfun i2c interrupt question

The Logic Analyzer isn't recognized on my laptop. Worked on my other computer fine. OK. Here's the fixed version and matching data. Link to barely modified standard code from Sparkfun. I added a wait until I hit "s" to start. Set the intPin to 3. https://gist.github.com/ricklon/e01b399 ... 943ce0553...

Re: mpu9250 library from Sparkfun i2c interrupt question

The easy part. Wire the physical interrupt pin from i2c device to a physical pin on board. That keeps it from floating. Now that it's in place it appears to get ignored. Re: mpu9250 library from Sparkfun i2c interrupt question

I will do that tonight. I've reread the data sheet. So I think I'll eliminate the simple issues and then do the data gathering.
