Re: MX4ck+PmodALS+PmodWIFI

You just need to read two bytes from the ADC via SPI. If you use the DSPI library, you'll use an array to store you received values. The 0th element will be the MSB and the 1st element will be the LSB. Shift the MSB to the left by four and the LSB to the right by 4, and bitwise or them together to g...

Re: Max32 with the OLED Pmod Since there is no Pmod Shield M

No Pmod Shield for the Max 32 that I know of. The Pmod Shield out there now just remaps the signals on a Uno32 to convenient Pmod headers. There is a solution to your OLED problem, but it depends on which library you are trying to use. IOShieldOled Library: Take a look at the reference manual for th...

Re: trouble with my libraries for basic IO shield

There is one place you should be putting additional libraries you download for MPIDE, and another for the ones included with MPIDE. For ones you download (like for the Basic IO Shield), you need to extract them in "Documents\mpide\Libraries". So the final path to say, IOShieldOled.h would be "Docume...

Re: How to configure MCU pins without Chipkit equivalent pin

To answer your question about the registers: yes, you can directly access the MCU registers in MPIDE. You just have to include p32xxxx.h at the beginning of your sketch. Then you can go about accessing the registers the same way you did with MPLAB. :) If you check the pinout in the WF32 reference ma...

Re: Custom Cerebot Mx7Ck Board PIC32 MPIDE Issue

Also, does anyone have any insight on why the bootloader would work on the cerebot board but not my custom board (which is practically the cerebot board). What are the differences? Is the chip on your custom board still a PIC32MX795F512L? Is there a separate FTDI or similar USB-to-UART chip on the ...

Re: Hibernate wifi in WF32

From the WF32 Reference manual: The active low HIBERNATE signal is used to power the WiFi module down and put it into a low power state. Looking at the pinouts in the manual, this corresponds to digital pin 58 (RG01) on the WF32. So writing this pin LOW would put it into hibernate, and then writing ...

Re: ChipKit Max32 USB

I understand you have resolved your issue by buying a new board, but this forum is still very much alive and this may be useful for someone else in the future. The USBID pin is used for when the Max32 is being operated in OTG mode. Pin 25 on the Max32 is the ID pin for the microcontroller. This pin ...

Re: Board is moving the pins

I'm assuming you're using MPIDE. Two things:
1.) Which board are you using? Do you have the correct board selected when programming?
2.) Which version of MPIDE are you using?

Re: MX4ck+PmodALS+PmodWIFI

There should be two SPI libraries included when you download MPIDE: SPI and DSPI. DSPI lets you use any of the SPI ports on your board. There should be some examples included with MPIDE. Go to File->Examples->DSPI and check out one of those examples. For JB on the MX4cK, you will need to use the obj...

Are you trying to implement it using MPLAB or MPIDE?
