Re: Pic32 libraries

Emiliop-

Which peripheral libraries for MPIDE are you trying to install?

Note that MPIDE has been been superseded by chipKIT-core for some time now, and is no longer supported.

Re: Questions about PIC32MM + CP2014 USB serial project

I believe that the bootloder can be compiled with the chipkit compiler - i think Majenko did this awhile back.

I'm not sure if he needed to make any changes in order to do so.

Re: Questions about PIC32MM + CP2014 USB serial project

Wow, that sounds like a great project. The bootloader repo is here : https://github.com/chipKIT32/PIC32-avrdude-bootloader You're certainly free to add a MM based board to the supported build targets if you want. Note that you need a non-free version of the XC32 compiler to build the bootloaders. We...

Re: fubarino mini uploading or not.

But if you do that, you then lose the ability to use the PRG button as an input in any of your sketches (which we typically do when we're teaching chipKIT classes, for example)

Re: fubarino mini uploading or not.

salzburg,

Check out the video on this page : http://fubarino.org/

While that was made with a Fubarino SD, it applies to the Mini as well. It will show you how to get into 'programming mode' with the Mini, which you must do before you try to download a new sketch to the board.

Re: Analogue reference Voltage.

I believe, by default, we have the ADC voltage references set to 3.3V and GND (internally). This frees up as many analog inputs as possible for users to use.

Re: MX370/470 support? analogWrite? PPS?

Hi Ulysses! I don't know of any 370 based board that are currently working, so you're (a little bit) in uncharted waters here. It seems unlikely to me that the PPS hardware is different in the 370 as compared with, for example, the MX1/2 family, which is working. But there could be some subtle diffe...

Rick, I agree with Matt. If you can post some Saleae data files for us to download and examine, it might be a lot easier for us to help you figure out why it's not working.

chipKIT-core v1.3.0 and v1.3.1 released

The chipKIT development team is very proud to announce two new versions of chipKIT-core. Both versions are available through the Arduino IDE Board Manager, and as separately installable zip files (from here : http://chipkit.net/wiki/index.php?title=ChipKIT_core) Release notes on what has changed can...

Re: chipkit dp32 usb-serial drivers problem

The chipKIT DP32 board does not use FTDI drivers - it uses the chipKIT USB (STK500) drivers. You can see more information on these drivers (and a download link if you need it) here : http://chipkit.net/wiki/index.php?title=ChipKIT_Drivers I'm suspecting the same thing you are - a hardware problem - ...
