Re: Chipkit Wifire Bootloader

Also be aware that Digilent has added additional functionality to their bootloader as well. Both have diverged from each other in different ways. (at least, that's the impression I've gotten from Digilent - I have not closely tracked their changes.)

Re: Chipkit Wifire Bootloader

The bootloader can be built with the XC32 compiler or the chipKIT compiler (for this purpose, they are basically identical).

Feel free to suggest changes/features for the bootloader as issues on the bootloader GitHub site!

Re: Compilation error 'panic: runtime error: index out of range'

I am unable to reproduce this. I copied all four of the sabertooth library folders into the sketchbook library folder, created a new sketch for MAX32, copied your sketch code in, and compiled twice, and neither time did I get any errors. This is under Arduino v1.8.2 IDE. Am I doing anything differen...

Re: Compilation error 'panic: runtime error: index out of range'

jam123,

I'd like to try and reproduce this problem. Can you tell me what sketch you're trying to compile, and with what libraries, and for what board?

Thanks-

Re: Compilation error 'panic: runtime error: index out of range'

jpswensen,

Just to clarify - are you trying to run all 4 boards under UECIDE, and you get these compile errors in that situation? Or are you using chipKIT-core in the Arduino IDE?

Re: Issues with SPI3 and interrupts

Full DSPI support has now been added to Fubarino SD, for all 3 SPI ports. I also added two DSPI example sketches (one with interrupts, one without). These will be available in the next version of chipKIT-core (whatever comes after v1.4.1) or you can get the files here: https://github.com/chipKIT32/c...

Re: Issues with SPI3 and interrupts

GrahmM242- Wow, you are correct. After looking into it, I realize that we don't have all three SPI ports exposed for FubarinoSD v1.5. This is a major oversight, and I will correct it shortly. (Note that there are only 3 SPI ports on the PIC32MX795F512H package that we use for the Fubarino SD, not fo...

chipKIT-core v1.4.1 released

There's a new minor release of chipKIT-core: https://github.com/chipKIT32/chipKIT-core/releases Here are the changes http://chipkit.net/wiki/index.php?title=ChipKIT_core_release_notes Not a huge deal, but there was a bug in the new ADC functions that was fixed, as well as a bad bug with the SPI libr...

MPLABX chipKIT Importer Plugin Released

After several years of everybody saying "now, wouldn't that be grand", we finally have an easy way for you to import any chipKIT (Arduino) sketch into MPLABX. Why? MPLAB X is a much better editor than Arduino IDE (search/replace, etc. far better!) You can now debug (in hardware) a chipKIT sketch usi...

Re: Bootloading onto FubarinoSD error

WorkInProgress, If you can hold on for just a little bit, there is going to be a new MPLAB X chipKIT importer released from Microchip that may make your task far, far easier. It allows you to pull in an Arduino project into MPLABX, and do all of your editing/building/uploading right from within X. O...
