Re: MPLAB libraries for the chipKIT boards + shields

Hi Mr. Apperson,

If there is a free place on an upper floor in your priority stack, then here is a reason for a new bump: I'm also making a request for this. We all know that Wiring language (along with C++) is a toy rather than a serious thing in the microcontroller world...

RSS Feed?

I'm using Google Reader to collect the news for me from sites I like to watch. I visit the sites without a feed only when I remember them or I have a need. Can we have a RSS feed?

Re: Official Release 20111221

3) It would be nice to be able to double click the error messages to get to the line-number that fails to compile. It will be a little harder to implement, as .pde file is parsed and translated in a real .c file where the number of lines will differ (much more lines). Personally, I would like to ha...

Re: [Experimental] chipKIT compiler using Newlib Standard C

All I can say, is that retrobsd for Chipkit Max32 project use it as the main compiler tool. See here.
The svn builds are compiling fine.

Re: Max32 Eeprom memory limits?

So, at the end, PIC32 is not a good choice for a development/educational board... :( Specially when you don't have a socket for the microcontroller. Now I see the Chipkit board prices as fair ones. Vasi In this light, a nice companion board for Max32 would be one based on PIC24FJ256DA210 which supp...

RepRap boards are crashing mpide

Many of RepRap-ers around the world are mainly using one of these boards, Sanguino and Gen7 . A simply copy and paste form "arduino-0022/hardware" to "mpide/hardware" does not work. mpide will crash at next start. I suppose it's something related to "platforms.txt" but I think is a little complicate...

Re: Trouble shooting Linux start up

I think I found it... Your mpide uses the same hidden ".arduino" folder for saving the settings. As I used Arduino IDE before, he created ".arduino" folder and wrote his preferences. At mpide launch, it will never start. I erased the ".arduino" folder and launched mpide and this time I have your mod...
