Re: Utility to convert HEX booloader to "Max32.c" ( for Max3

I meant to say... using the Update Bootloader sketch....

This sketch can be very nice, but there should be a utility to create the IMAGE in C from a HEX file.

Utility to convert HEX booloader to "Max32.c" ( for Max32 )

I have modified a couple of things on the bootloader of Max32, and have compiled with MPLAB X, and now I'd like to burn in many boards.

It would be nice to use this sketch to do that, but I need to replace the image...

and works on that ?

Re: MPLab X, ChipKit PGM, Chipkit Uno: Now what?

Have you tried to power the device using the USB cable ?

On my test board, I soldered the 6-pin connector to the chip-kit.

Re: ChipKit PGM vs PICKit3

thanks for your information. When time allows, I will make another set of tests. When I got my PICKit3, I was able to debug the app, set break points, etc. I followed the doc "Debugging chipKIT with MPLAB IDE.pdf" and used MPLAB 8.6. At the time, I has been a while, MPLAB got confused withe C++ code...

ChipKit PGM vs PICKit3

Is there any difference between the two ?

I am using PICKit3, but MPLAB does not show the local variables correctly, saying it is "out of scope".

Does the ChipKit PGM fixes this ?

Re: Release Candidate 1 20120603

Unfortunately, the printf stuff with FLOATS still broken.

All values I passed to the printed with printf, are printed as 0.0000

Re: Adjust Serial Library for High Speed Operation

It would make a lot easier to overwrite or extent the HardwareSerial class, if the members were made "protected".

Re: [Experimental] chipKIT compiler using Newlib Standard C

This simple program crashes.

The "printf" and others functions are not handling the formating of floats.

void setup()
{
Serial.begin(115200);
}

void loop()
{
char b[100];
double d = 2.7;

sprintf( b, "%f", d );
Serial.println( b );
}
