Re: UECIDE's window is garbled.

I have already updated the Java to the latest, but still doesn't work well. The UECIDE is at 0.9.1.

UECIDE's window is garbled.

Hey there, just installed the UECIDE, but the window is all garbled. I moused over those menu items, and all the garbled and messed up graphics is covering the IDE.

Chipkit and Harmony integration (AN1388)

Hey guys! What I did on the weekends is to modify the linker scripts and some files so that it is also compatible to the AN1388 Harmony Bootloader. The whole thing is with a lot of hits and misses, but slightly more hits. It is on a test board with the PIC32MZ microcontroller - the Wi-Fire's 64-pin ...

Re: Overriding Chipkit's linker settings

Hey, an update! After messing around with the "app_mz.ld" and tallying the generated *.map file with the chipkit and mine, I get it to work with the AN1388 Harmony bootloader. Even the pic32prog works within a reach! The tedious part was to debug the bootloader + app. When I started, the linker went...

Re: Overriding Chipkit's linker settings

Hello majenko, thanks for the reply. I followed what you suggested on the dummy linker file, it did link halfway through, but it shouts something like "reset vectors are overlapping other codes". Since I'm not at my desk now, I will show you the exact error later when I'm at home. I believe that I m...

Overriding Chipkit's linker settings

Hello, I'm creating a new Chipkit platform for a custom board, and I have managed to have the pic32prog to upload the application hex with the "an1388" flag. However, the linker in the Chipkit platform (Arduino IDE) ended up linking at least another linker script "chipKIT-BL-mega.ld" or "chipKIT-app...

Re: Chipkit Wifire Bootloader

Thanks, I'll try using the Chipkit bootloader and compile it from there. :)

Re: Chipkit Wifire Bootloader

I think it actually fits entirely within just one of the two 80k blocks that comprise the boot flash area. Code Protection is not turned on, and I don't believe there is any software protection of the boot flash to prevent it overwriting itself. Thanks for the reply. By the way, which compiler and ...

Chipkit Wifire Bootloader

Hello there,

Is the bootloader in the Chipkit WiFire located entirely in the 160KB boot-flash and also being write protected?
