Re: Porting a library

I switched from the ENC28J60 to the WizNet W5500 boards. I still have a lot of problems getting it loaded into the IDE (and I treid all 3 UCI, Chipkit and Arduino). I always ended up hacking it into place. Right now it's not working properly (again) and I need to fix that.

Need some pointer on writing a library

Hi folks, I'm working on some home automation controllers that are working with MQTT and I'm starting to work on the SSL part. So far I have all the basic stuff down and I've ported over the needed libraries to the MPIDE/UECIDE. But I find that often a little change really messed up the compile and ...

Re: What's the latest stable MPIDE that supports the Fubarino?

Thanks for the confirmation on the 20140821 version. I think a lot of the errors I ran into are dealing with the C++ features used by the Wiznet Ethernet 1.50 library vs the 0.23 library. C++ is not one of my favorite languages and I haven't really used it in depth in a number of years. I'll be spen...

What's the latest stable MPIDE that supports the Fubarino?

I am one very grumpy programmer right now. I've just spent a couple of days porting my code (the WIZNET W5x00 code and the MQTT libraries). I've been bouncing between 4 different version of MPIDE (2 x 0023 and 2 x 1500). I managed to get the UNO32 and Fubarino Mini to compile (and work) under 0023 2...

Re: Fubarino mini Starting point ?

Cool, 20150204 (0150) and the latest W5500 1.5 code work well. I haven't test the code on the Fubarino mini. That will be a bit later. Thanks

Re: Fubarino mini Starting point ?

With your comment I checked with the version of mpide I have and I'd been running. It's 20130817 and I'm switching to 20140821 (I'll find something more up to data). Current error starts with: libraries/Ethernet/DSPI.cpp:1117:1: error: 'DSPI1' does not name a type libraries/Ethernet/DSPI.cpp:1149:1:...

Fubarino mini Starting point ?

I have 4 minis and while not paying attention I set one of my compiles to the mini (instead o the Uno32) and it failed. Since I seem to recall I need to setup things a bit differently for th mini I thought it might be a good idea to ask if anyone has a good tutorial or info on a starting point for t...

Re: implementation of watchdog for max32 in Mpide

Yes I know this is a year old. I went looking for the same thing but I did find this:

https://github.com/MajenkoLibraries/Watchdog

It doesn't directly answer Charles' question but hopefully it will be useful to someone else.

Porting a library

I'm porting over a library to my UNO32 (UIPEthernet) and I've run into the usual problems of Arduino registers and write size_t vs void (maddening). Those I've gotten by and I think I'm okay. But I'm really confused as to why I can't get passed calls such as millis and delay. I can't find what I'm m...
