Re: chipKIT DP32 / chipKIT PI Pin and PPS Reference Map

Thanks Maxim,

You are correct, that should read MISO2, my dyslexia slipping in again, I will update the master copy.

Cheers

Re: New Bootloaders for MX150 and MX250 SPDIP Parts

Hi All, Sorry for not responding to this thread for so long but I have not been working with the Chipkit for some time and missed the posts. I also just tried to open the original zip and get the same message, very strange as nothing has changed, I never thought that zip files were biodegradable ove...

pic32mx170f256b bootloader?

Hi All, Has anyone created a bootloader for the pic32mx170f256b and/or the pic32mx270f256b? I tried a forum search but apparently pic32mx170f256b is a common word so was ignored :o Unfortunately all the code I was using to build bootloaders is on a dead, drive in my Older development machine, so I t...

Re: PPS and OCx / analogWrite

Thanks, I am well aware of that, and the mappings I chose are available, My question was whether AnalogWrite will follow the mapping or is it hard coded to specific pins. In other words, I can remap the OCx Registers but AnalogWrite no longer works if I do. Would I need to change the mappings in the...

Re: DP32 & any built in SD example produces compiler error

Straight SPI works for me on the DP32 defined as follows: #define chipBUS_an 11 #define chipBUS_rst 12 #define chipBUS_cs 9 #define chipBUS_sck 7 #define chipBUS_miso 10 #define chipBUS_mosi 18 #define chipBUS_pwm 13 #define chipBUS_rx 6 #define chipBUS_tx 4 #define chipBUS_scl 2 #define chipBUS_sda...

Re: advanced programming

I was under the impression that allocating an interrupt Priority 7 automatically used the shadow registers, I may be mistaken but, I don't recall them having to be enabled in Config. That said, I have only ever used them on custom hardware coded via the ICD3, never with chipKIT or any other bootload...

Re: Sleeping and Serial (USB)

If it works after a reset, and you are happy for the app to reset after a sleep, you could try issuing a soft reset on waking up. it is defined in Plib.h as void SoftReset(void) I have also used: void reset (void) { ((void (far *) (void)) 0x000000) (); } but that was before I found the version in Pl...

Re: Sleeping and Serial (USB)

I have not personally tried sleep mode but just looking at your code I would suggest trying a Serial.end() statement before you shout down the USB so that all the handles and buffers are released.
