Re: USB Host library for ChipKit DP32

Not native, but I did get the Circuits@Home library working with an Uno32 years ago:

I'm totally rolling this into my chipKIT class this year!

Thanks Manjenko!

Re: PIC32MZ Flash Endurance Questions

I think Keith at Digilent did some testing and found that he could do millions of writes at room temperature. I seem to remember something about him have to write and erase continuously for close to a month to destroy the chip. The EEPROM library for chipKIT uses a table to keep track of your values...

Re: Pic32 libraries

There are some issues with MPIDE where you have to delete the preferences.txt file due to incompatibility between versions. I don't know if this is related. You would usually see this issue when downgrading MPIDE, but sometimes when upgrading.

Re: Network Shield - CAN bus

One of my colleges has done a little bit with the CAN, it was a while ago and I don't know if can help, but I will point him to this post. If you don't hear from him, he probably has nothing.

chipKIT Emulated EEPROM Improvement

As you may or may not know, chipKIT-core uses part of the FLASH program space of the PIC32 to emulate EEPROM. The "emulation" refers to an EEPROM's ability to erase any byte of its memory where as FLASH memory can only be erase a large block at a time. The way this is accomplished is through the use...

chipKIT WifFire external ADC referance

Some magic tricks had to be performed when Digilent make the chipKIT WiFire due to building the boards with different revisions of uC Silicone. Because of this the ADC code is not quite up to snuff at this time. Today we had to use and external reference and we ended up adding the following code to ...

Re: DP32, problem with low voltage o/p on pins 9 & 10

What is connected to pins 9 & 10? Hare they loaded down and when the other module kicks in the current available drops?

Re: I2C causes CoreTimerInterrupt problem on Wifire

Shirley,

We have been using I2C with ADC on a WiFire this last week and are seeing the board lock up. I don't know if it is related. Both work fine by themselfs but together boom. If I figure something out I'll post it here.
